Introducing our New AdMob Integration

We all know the single most important aspect to buying and selling on Flippa is trust.

As a buyer, you want to make sure that you can trust the seller’s claims about traffic, revenue, and business details. Similarly, as a seller, you want to make sure buyers know you are a trustworthy individual, so they have the confidence to make an offer.

Here at Flippa, we want to ensure we are enabling trust on both sides of the marketplace. That’s why today we are excited to announce the release of our new AdMob Integration.

How does the AdMob integration work?

We’ve built an integration with AdMob that lets sellers connect their account and display verified revenue directly on their listing. Sellers cannot edit this data — it comes directly from AdMob and can be fully trusted.

In addition to a chart showing revenue over the past 12 months, three distinct data points are pulled in:

  • Estimated earnings: Total earnings accrued over the last 12 months.
  • Impressions: The total number of ad units shown to users across all ad units and apps
  • eCPM: Effective cost per thousand impressions. An estimate of the revenue received for every thousand ad impressions. Calculated as (Total Earnings / Impressions) x 1,000

As a seller, connecting your account will give you a special badge and boost your visibility in search results — thereby increasing chances of a sale.

Who is eligible for this integration?

All sellers of iOS or Android apps that claim revenue will be given the opportunity to connect their AdMob account.

As a seller, how do I connect my AdMob account?

To connect your AdMob account, go to your listing page, and look for the Integrations Center. (This new hub will house all future integrations, so it’s best to become familiar with it!)

To connect, just click the button and follow the prompts. Verified revenue data will be displayed on your listing page a few moments after connecting. (Don’t worry – You’ll be able to verify the data before it gets published.)

How often is the data refreshed?

Once a seller has connected their account, the data is refreshed monthly.

What if I don’t use AdMob?

This integration only works with Google AdMob. If your app is using another ad network let us know at [email protected] We’re planning more integrations in the future and would love to hear from you.
