This business is young, but already generating fantastic revenue with an incredible opportunity to continue their growth.
Tell us a little about yourself. What’s your background? How did you come to start this store?
We have over 5 years of experience working within immigration law and one major pain point that we learned is that many of these lawyers are being paid by the hour, and often working with customers who have a hard time paying. We realized that a tool that helped them manage their systems and analyze important data would be worth quite a bit to them.
Why did you choose this product to sell?
Our platform is essentially a CRM system for small law firms. It allows them to track data and, most importantly payments from their clients. Integrating with Square and also EZ Text, it not only helps track payments, but easily sends reminders to clients who are on payment plans.
How have you marketed the product and where are your customers originating from?
So far we haven’t marketed this product at all. We have been able to implement with several law firms based on our connections within the industry and word of mouth.
There would be a great opportunity for someone who knows how to market the product outside our scope of relationships. There is a great opportunity to market through the BAR association or American Law Association.
How do you generate revenue?
Similar to a credit card, or other financial platform, we are taking a flat 3.5% fee off of each transaction. The scalability of this is massive when you consider how much law firms charge for their hourly wages.
This is a young business, why are you selling now?
We love this platform and spent an entire year developing it, but we are unfortunately involved in several other concepts and simply don’t have the time necessary to turn this into the success that it deserves to become.
Can you list a few opportunities for a potential new owner to continue growing the business?
With a bit of programming experience and some knowledge in marketing, the growth potential knows no bounds.
